Slip-n-Slide

Mommy bought a slip-n-slide to help give a little thermal relief on these hot days. After a little consternation to find the best place to put it and set it up, we finally had it going right.

And then a few problems presented.

First, a rather large hole developed in the end of it, which caused the water pressure in the little built-in sprinklers to drop, which meant there was very little water spraying over the top, which meant no slip on the slide!

Second, the doggone thing killed the grass underneath it, in a matter of just a few hours! We were very careful to remove it (not leaving overnight), but that didn't matter. 

Update: The grass has recovered, but the hole is severe and it's all kaput.

But it was fun while it lasted!
