Miri had an appointment to check progress on her arm. While waiting for the doctor, she spied the HP logo on the monitor.
It's healing well, according to the orthopedist. We will be taking her in to have the pins and hard cast removed later this week. That's going to be a doozy of an appointment, we are told.
She has become very accustomed to life with the cast, running and flitting about with aplomb, using her left hand a lot. (Although I know she is tired of it.) Having it removed will be a new situation to adjust to, because we will have to be very cautious about her movements.
Makes you just want to wrap your child in bubble wrap and make sure nothing ever touches them.
