Horse-drawn Christmas Caroling

What a fun night! The four of us took a ride on a horse-drawn wagon to go caroling in historic downtown Albany. It's put on by Chafin farm, as a fundraiser for the Montieth House. The horses (Teddy and Wilma) were amazing! They were lit up and had lots of bells on.

Everyone bundled up tight, and they gave us jingle bells to ring and songbooks.

The horses pulled us on a treat of a trip - about 45 minutes long. (And they barely flinched when the ambulance came whizzing by us, lights and siren blaring!)

Lots of houses were decorated for Christmas.

And the trolley had it's own lights -- and real icicles to boot!

Such a fabulous way to ring in the season!
